A White Legacy, Chapter 2.2

jothirteenThe last chapter covered the teen years of Gauri and Bianca, during which nothing too interesting happened. Mainly, Gauri had evil plans which she hid from me, and Bianca spent the whole freaking time dancing to classical music on the radio. At the end of the chapter, Alba received a phone call from Xander saying that he had become an elder, which seemed to devastate her somehow.
Gauri also became a young adult at the end of the chapter, and she chose Mortimer Goth to be the future father of generation 3. Problem is, he kept refusing to woohoo with her.
Anyway, let's start the chapter.
Not unusually for a legacy, let's start with a birthday. That's right, it's Bianca's turn to become a young adult. Today she actually leaves the house. By the way, her last trait is Perfectionist.
Here she is, in all her white glory. I think she also turned out to be very pretty.
"I'm prettier than Gauri, actually. Why doesn't anyone admit it? Just because you are all afraid of her..."
Bianca, now it's not the time for this. We can argue about who's prettier later. Now, move out!
*sigh* "Even on my birthday they ignore me."
"Ewww, Gauri, I can't believe what you're doing. Honestly, I'm so glad I'm leaving this crazy house."
"Shut up, Bianca. This is all part of my evil plan."
"Whatever, freak, I'm off to live a life better than yours."
The next day, Alba was outside dancing to the radio when she noticed Mortimer was passing by...holding a toddler girl in his arms.
"I can't believe this! My poor daughter keeps hoping that you'll get her pregnant so that the legacy can continue and here you are, having had a child with someone else! Did you cheat on Gauri?"
"Uhhh, no I didn't. True, I have a daughter, but Luciana's adopted."
"Hmm, now that you say that...she doesn't look much like you at all. But...remember what I told you about Gauri. Deep down, I know she's miserable. She needs to give birth to a gen 3 baby as soon as possible. Remember that, Mortimer."
"...I will."
And Mortimer finally did the right thing for Gauri and got her pregnant. Finally! I was starting to think gen 3 would never come. I'll have to thank Alba for this, I guess.
"So I heard you finally got Gauri pregnant. Well, it sure took a long time! My Xander got me pregnant on the first day I moved here! You're nothing compared to him! He should get a prize for his fertility, I'm sure of it."
"..."
Poor Mortimer, he's only just realizing how crazy the relatives of his unborn child can be.
Soon Gauri starts experiencing the first pregnancy symptoms. Yeah, Gauri, you might hate this, but it's still going to last a while.
Shortly after that, she discovers she can no longer deny she's pregnant.
"Aww...my little evil baby. You're going to be a part of mommy's plans, oh yes you will."
That is at the same time sweet and disturbing.
She spent a great part of her pregnancy exploring the galaxy. At least we know she wasn't lazying around like Bianca used to do.
She also ate some watermelon, because we really need that girl, and I'm thinking it is unlikely Mortimer will want to woohoo with her again soon. If she does get pregnant a second time, she won't eat any fruit. Just like Alba.
"Mother, I have news. I'm pregnant. You're going to be a grandmother."
"OMG, are you serious?"
"Of course...just look at me, I'm getting huge!"
"That's such great news, Gauri! I can't believe me and Xander are going to have grandbabies! Squeee!"
"O...kay...but I shouldn't really be surprised. That is actually a pretty normal reaction coming from you, Mother."
Pregnancy hormones are changing Gauri a lot. We can only hope she gets back to normal as soon as the baby is born.
"This is only temporary, of course. I am still quite Evil, don't you worry."
Says the girl reading a pregnancy book with a smile on her face.
"I'm just seeing if it says something about how to get Evil babies."
"Hey Gothy, I have news for you. I'm pregnant. You're going to be a father, again. Yes, my Mother told me about your daughter. And I don't care. What you do with your life is not my business."
"Seriously, Gauri? That's wonderful to know!"
"You're not mad? I thought that, since you're from a rich family and all, you wouldn't like having an illegitimate child very much..."
"Of course I'm not mad at you, Gauri. I love you. I only wished we could get married so that our child wouldn't have to be illegitimate, but sadly we can't, since you're in a matriarchy and all."
"You would really marry me if you had the chance?"
"Why do you keep doubting me?"
"I...think you should marry someone else. I will never be able to marry you, Gothy. You know that. And you can't waste your whole life waiting for me. Come on. I may be Evil, but I want you to be happy. I like you. Isn't there anyone you want to marry other than me? Any childhood friend that you have been crushing on your whole life?"
"...No...there isn't anyone else in my life. Only you, our baby and my daughter Luciana."
As the days passed, Gauri got as big as a house...while thinking of what Mortimer had told her.
She also found a pretty impressive fallen meteor near the end of her pregnancy.
Until...
"IT'S TIME! Call my mother! Call...someone!"
Her labour face is even better than Alba's, I think.
Gauri eventually went to the hospital to have the baby and had a baby girl named Blanche ("white" in French), who was born with the Artistic trait. I chose the Insane trait for her...just because I want all women in this family to be crazy. It amuses me.
"Oops, I think I left one baby behind."
Oh, that's right, she had twins. Two girls. The second one, named Branwen ("white raven") was born with the Friendly trait, and I also chose Insane for her. Let the fun begin.
"Mother! I'm back, and I had twin girls! Mother, are you listening to me?"
"ZZZZZ"
"Typical."
But Alba eventually woke up and found the time to dote on her twin granddaughters.
Gauri is actually a pretty decent mother. When she's not stealing candy from her babies, that is.
Oh, you think I'm joking?
She rolled the want to steal candy from her newborn daughter Blanche...
"Muhahaha, I love stealing candy from babies! Even though they're my own."
...she did it twice in fact.
Finally, I decided to let the girls age, since I was getting sick of having newborn babies in the house. Blanche, who will probably be scarred for life, has white hair! She looks a lot like Gauri, except for the fact that she has green eyes. Her favourite colour is yellow.
And Branwen, who is Gauri's clear favourite (she never stole candy from her and rolled the want for her to become a Genius) looks very much like her mother as well. She also has white hair, and Gauri's dark eyes. Her favourite colour is hot pink.

I got both of their names from behindthename.com. Great website if you're looking for names!
