A little update on...well, everything

Hello, awesome people at LJ, long time no "see".

Things have been kinda crappy for the last month or so real life-wise, so it's really no wonder I didn't feel the need to get back at being more involved in the online world. Problems with university stuff, plus having to deal with depression and the continuing sleep issues that have been eating away at my short-term memory, contributing to the university problems mentioned above, and so to the depression, etc., it was just a nightmarish vicious cycle. At least things are a bit better now, thankfully.

As for the Sims part of my life, I haven't even felt the slightest desire to go back to Sims 2 since I reinstalled Sims 3 back in...September? I'm really enjoying playing Sims 3, the Supernatural expansion has proved pretty entertaining. And I think my non-Sims 2 general attitude might be related to the Sims 2 website closing. Well, I didn't have backups of my Exchange chapters. I still have the pics, but I'm pretty sure I no longer have most of the text. I don't feel like putting those 60+ chapters back into LJ entry/PowerPoint presentation/whatever format anytime soon, so...the ATOR legacy is in limbo right now. Yes, I know it was my fault for not having backups of the chapters, but still, that doesn't make me want to go and start putting them together again either.

I hope things have been going well with all of you lately.

Oh, thank you - I did remember someone had saved them a while back, but I thought that with the Exchange gone, the stories saved in that archive were gone as well. Guess I was wrong. :)
