The Maderleys

jothirteenI hope that everyone had a great Christmas! Mine wasn't bad, and I got some pretty neat presents. (Including a t-shirt made by my sister, with the face of Fernando Pessoa and a quote by him.)
Lately, I've shifted back to Sims 3 for a while, because I missed those guys. But I'm not talking the White legacy sims. I have to confess that I haven't played those in ages. I kind of got bored with them.
But there is a non-legacy, non-story sims 3 family that I absolutely adore.
To cut a long story short, I created the first members of this family in CAS. A young woman named Augusta Maderley and her twin daughters, Dorothea and Flavia.
This is Augusta. Slightly creepy-looking, isn't she? Which was what I intended. ;) By the way, her hair was grey. Not white.
She and her daughters moved in with the town tramp, Jezebel of the Opera (also a CAS sim). Sadly, I have very few pictures, and none of Jezebel. (But you aren't missing much.)
These were the twins Dorothea (black hair with white streaks) and Flavia (white hair with black streaks) as children. Opposites. Dora was the nice girl, while Flavia was a psycho.
Augusta eventually fell in love with a premade, Salvador Frio, got pregnant and married him, moving to his house. Leaving the poor twins with Jezebel, who hated kids. She went on to have a second set of twins, which surprised me. Their names were Angela and Emily, and they both had grey hair.
I played Augusta and Salvador's house for some sim days after Angela and Emily were born. I made them have another kid (a daughter that was named Naomi). Then I went back to Jezebel's house and forgot about Augusta's new family. But she did have a sixth daughter, Ivana, shortly before she became an elder. Which surprised me a bit.
Meanwhile, Jezebel fell in love with several sims. One of them was Connor Frio, the younger brother of Augusta's husband Salvador. She had two sons by him: Josh and Erik of the Opera (not twins).
Josh was an interesting-looking sim. (Too bad I never took any pics of him.) He had black hair (which made me go WTF, since both of his parents were red heads), his mother's blue-green eyes and green skin, but most of his father's features. And Connor Frio's features + green skin = alien-like sim.
Dora and Flavia were already young adults by this point. Dora started dating a premade, Sam Sekemoto. She had a son with him, Marius Maderley. But they later broke up (when Dora found Sam flirting with Jezebel), and Sam immediately got together with a premade woman and had three kids by her. Jerk.
Then, not much happened until Josh became a young adult (Erik and Marius were already teens by then, Dora and Flavia were adults and Jezebel was well into her elder years). Despite the age difference, Josh and Dorothea fell in love and got married (I felt like she deserved a family, and Josh, while much younger than her, was MUCH better than Sam Sekemoto). They had three daughters together.
Rowena was the oldest and my favourite sims 3 sim EVER. This picture doesn't do her justice, unfortunately. But she was a very pretty sim, with her grandfather Connor's red hair and her father Josh's blue-green eyes. Most of her features came from Dora, though. She was the one who inherited the house and I'll get back to her in a while.
Then there were the twins, Elza and Octavia. They had the exact same traits, but they couldn't be any more different in looks.
Elza was a mix of her parents, but not as pretty as Rowena. She always had this "Snow White" thing about her.
Octavia was odd-looking, in an awesome way. She looked a LOT like her father (alien-like), but got Dora's creepy light grey eyes and Connor's red hair. Unfortunately, the alien looks ended with her, because she never married or had any kids.
Like I said, Rowena was this generation's "heiress". She married a guy named Tácio Parra...who was one of the children Sam Sekemoto had with his second girlfriend. So he was Ro's half-brother's half-brother. But not related to her by blood. Weird, I know.
They had two daughters together. The oldest was Allegra, which was even prettier than Rowena, I think. A very glamorous sim, a doctor and an artist all in one.
The youngest was Eleonora. Who was sort of weird-looking. Also the only sim I ever had that made this particular hairstyle look good on her. But she was also a cool sim. Only in a different way.
Tácio was not faithful to Rowena, unfortunately. He started an affair with her sister Elza which resulted in two children.
The first was a girl named Aline. I always thought of her as an outcast. She hated her own parents (true story) and one of her few friends was her half-sister Eleonora. Like her aunt Octavia, she died a single woman.
The other child of Elza and Tácio was a boring boy named Atanásio. He is still alive, I think, but is now an elder. Anyway, I don't have a picture of him.
As I liked Allegra and Eleonora equally, I decided that both would get to live in the house. Allegra started dating a guy named Eder Bencatel, and had a son named Septimus with him. Eder never moved in, however, and died when Septimus was a teen.
Septimus is still alive, but is now an elder. I'll get to him in a bit.
Eleonora dated this guy named Ronaldo Moier for a loooooong time. He was a married man and had two adult sons with his wife. But no one cared much about that. Ellie tried to get pregnant dozens of times, but Ronaldo would always reject her when she tried to woohoo with him. That was so annoying...
Finally, he moved in with her and she got pregnant. She gave birth to twin girls, Lisbeth and Camilla. Named after characters from Stieg Larsson's Millenium trilogy. They're currently adults.
Lisbeth, the oldest, is a hacker just like her namesake. She can be usually seen looking for precious stones around the neighbourhood or shamelessly looking into people's trashcans at night to find out secrets about them. She's also a clone of her mother Eleonora.
Camilla, the youngest twin, is a friendly woman who follows the family tradition of gardening (especially when it comes to those rarest and strangest plants). She's a scientist like her mother and grandmother.
Lisbeth and Camilla are currently sharing the "heirship" just like their mother and aunt did before them.
This means that Septimus moved out of the house. He married this Snape lookalike, Úrsula Hatch. She's also an elder now.
They had only one child, who was randomly assigned the terrible name of Maria da Assunção. Old lady name. So I call her "Massie". She got the best of both parents. My sister, who thinks both Septimus and Úrsula are ugly, says Massie was lucky and got her grandmother Allegra's good looks.
Massie recently became a young adult.
Camilla is engaged to a rich guy named Nélio Carmelito. He lives with his parents and four younger sisters in the house that used to be the Goths'. (I'm pretty sure that the Goth family died out in this 'hood.)
They have twin daughters who are now teens. Roberta and Ruth Maderley. Don't have any pics yet, but I will soon. They both got their father's brown-green hair and purple eyes. Roberta is more of a dreamer, while Ruth is a down-to-earth girl.
Lisbeth has two kids whose father has the hilarious name of Primo Tucano. (Yes, seriously.) Their oldest child is a girl named Pandora, who is yet another clone of Eleonora and Lisbeth. She just became a child.
They also have a second daughter named Morella. I don't know much about her yet, because she was just born. But I'm hoping she won't be a clone.
