Riverblossom Hills - Rotation One
Apr. 27th, 2012 02:55 pmHouse 01
The house of Pace and Paloma Vis, and now housing only 4 of the 6 daughters they have between the two of them. One of those daughters, Halle, was pregnant in the introduction post.
During this rotation, she finally went into labour (I induced her labour a few hours earlier via Tombstone of L&D because of the timing with her adult birthday).

She had a baby boy, named Quinn Vis (Gemini 4/7/9/4/1). And as you can see, everyone in the family was fretting over the birth. This is the first grandchild for Pace and Paloma. :)

And will likely be a very loved child. Awww.

By the end of the rotation, Halle and her twin Octavia were already adults, so they both moved out with little Quinn, who had just became a toddler.
Their house will be the new House 03 starting next rotation, with all houses after theirs being bumped down one place.

House 02
The house of Pace and Paloma's oldest daughters, twins Amaranta and Nuria. Nothing special happened this rotation. Basically, the sisters spent their time skilling to get ahead in their careers (Political career track for Amaranta, Athletic for Nuria).

House 03
Now House 03 (which will be House 04 from next rotation onwards)...this house was a lot more eventful than the previous ones.
We started the rotation with Chryses Poisoned proposing to his girlfriend, Midnight Goffik.

And with his identical twin brother Wyn Poisoned doing the same with his girlfriend Raven Goffik (Midnight's identical triplet). Yes, I know you won't be able to tell the couples apart most of the time. Don't worry, the same happens to me.

With all the excitement, the adults missed the fact that the children (Chryses and Midnight's daughter Samara and Wyn and Raven's daughter Nerezza) had got too cold while playing... And yes, this followed.

I decided not to get the girls back for them, as I always do that for my non-challenge sims. Not this time. But do not worry, as I won't let the poor things sit around in the adoption pool forever. I have plans for them.
That didn't stop the parents from being heartbroken, though.

And Emil (the Poisoned boys' younger brother) being caught by the police when sneaking out that same night didn't help the mood at all.

The saddest thing was that the girls kept walking by. Occasionally they even stole their parents' newspapers.

Close to the very end of the rotation, we had two weddings. Both girls took their husband's last name.

(Back to front, left to right: Wyn Poisoned; Damien Goffik; Katherine Poisoned; Emil Poisoned; Storm Goffik; Ebony Goffik; some random townie; Raven Goffik)

(Back to front, left to right: Midnight Poisoned; Katherine Poisoned; Emil Poisoned; Storm Goffik; Damien Goffik; the same random townie; Ebony Goffik; Chryses Poisoned)

After all the guests were gone, both couples went and tried for baby. Both succeeded, with Midnight getting pregnant only 1 hour after Raven did.

The babies won't be here until next rotation, though.

The very end of the rotation in this house had Emil becoming an adult and moving in with his girlfriend, Storm Goffik (Raven and Midnight's non-identical triplet sister).

House 04
The house of Ebony Goffik (mother to Damien, triplets Raven, Midnight and Storm, and triplets Belladonna, Lilith and Hecate). Another uneventful house. The youngest triplets became adults by the end of this rotation. Belladonna moved out. (Belladonna is the black-haired one, Lilith the blue-haired one and Hecate the purple-haired one.)

House 05
The house of the oldest of the children of Ebony Goffik, her only son, Damien. Again, nothing much happened here besides skilling and going to work.

House 06
Storm Goffik's house (Emil only actually moved in with her after I played her house for the 3 days of the rotation). Mostly...she tended to her plants. And that was it.

Until Emil moved in...

...which was when they got engaged.

House 07
The house to Apricot and Electra Legacy, their third child Johannes, Apricot's alien twins Daniel and Jennifer, and their youngest child, Leo.
This house was also pretty interesting to play during this rotation, because I decided to hire a gardener to help the Legacies with their plants...and this happened.

The gardener glitch. I had seen it in many stories before, but never had it actually happen in my game. It was a serious infestation of gardeners, thankfully the maid left at some point, freeing the gardener truck, and they stopped spawning. But there were over 40 of them still stuck at the lot.

Poor Electra, who arrived home, having fulfilled her LTW to become a Mad Scientist, had to be the one to send most of them away.

(And there was a seriously creepy gardener among the dozens of them.)

The rest of the rotation went by without any incidents. Johannes became an adult by the end of it.

He moved in with the oldest Vis twins, and promptly proposed to Amaranta, his former teenage sweetheart.

House 08
The house of Apricot and Electra's second child, Rhiannon, her fiancé, former teen townie Daniel Tsvirkunov, and their daughter Lianne (who is a child). We started off with a wedding, which was a great joy to Family sim Rhiannon. She took her husband's last name.

(Back to front, left to right: Agoraphobia Legacy; Amaranta Vis; Leo Legacy; Johannes Legacy; Daniel Legacy; Apricot Legacy; Electra Legacy; Lianne Tsvirkunov.)

Unfortunately, Daniel Legacy (who will be referred to Danny from now on to avoid confusion with his brother-in-law) decided it would be a good idea to ruin his half-sister's wedding night. By flirting with his half-brother's fiancé. Whose twin sister he is eventually going to marry. Brilliant, Danny, just brilliant.

Johannes was furious, of course, and I can't blame him. While Danny just smiled like an idiot.

Then I had Rhiannon send him away as soon as possible, before he caused even more trouble.

During the rest of the rotation, Lianne spent her time skilling.

And so did her parents...but only after Rhiannon got pregnant, of course. With natural twins. Next rotation should be interesting.

House 09
The house to three romancers: Pyrros Vis (Pace Vis' brother), Ruth Tanner (CAS sim, formerly a story sim), and Agoraphobia Legacy (Apricot and Electra's oldest). Living with them are Ruth's teenage son Samuel and Pyrros and Agoraphobia's toddler daughter, Anatidaephobia. Both conceived via risky woohoo. Noticing a pattern here?
Samara Goffik also wandered by this lot, and even sat down to play with Anatidaephobia for a while. She is, after all, family, since the oldest Goffik triplets are also Pyrros' daughters, making Anatidaephobia Samara's aunt. Crazy family tree, and it will only get crazier in the future.

Pyrros started acting all high and mighty after he fulfilled his LTW of becoming a Rock God.

And I spent the rotation taking pictures of toddler Anatidaephobia, because she is just so darn adorable. Seriously, look at that little face and blame me.

Pyrros became an elder during this rotation. He's still handsome.

He finally got to meet his daughter Storm, the only one of his five daughters he didn't have a friendly relationship with yet (and here I'll remind you that the youngest Vis girl, Silence, is actually his daughter, via an affair he had with Paloma).

Anatidaephobia became a child shortly afterwards, still as adorable as ever.

And the Goffik girls kept wandering by, to their grandfather's confusion.

House 10
The final house in the rotation - the Marsh household.
The members of this family were original characters of mine which I decided to recreate in CAS once. I forgot about them until shortly before starting playing this 'hood again. I decided to add them to the current rotation because they had nine sons in my story, and that will be a good way to even things out, considering the six Vis girls, Ebony Goffik's six daughters, etc.
Also, the three oldest were created in CAS along with their parents, so they're already 1/3 done.
The oldest son, Dunstan Finn, became a teen during this rotation (I made him 3 days older than his other brother who was created in CAS as a child). He is a Popularity sim who wants to become The Law, and is attracted to females.

This was also the rotation which started the trend of Marsh Family Skilling Time. The family that skills together, does stay together.

Leah May, the mother, was pregnant at the beginning of the rotation.

She went into labour by the end of it...

...giving birth to her fourth son, Bard Emilian Marsh (Aries 10/10/7/2/3). Only 5 to go now.

Aaaaand...that was it for this rotation. I shall be posting pics of the second and third ones soon (though those will have to be cut in half, as I took lots of pics), since right now I am already halfway through rotation number four.
