Martin and Peach, Part Two of Picspam

...as I played these two houses out of order, and during the first time playing Randomville in months. I should either write the next chapter or actually get the pics for the chapter after the next one from now on.

Last time we saw them, Martin and Peach had got married (Martin took Peach's last name), they both got jobs (Martin - Adventurer career track; Peach - Journalism career track), Peach got pregnant and later gave birth to a daughter, Opal (who became a toddler at the very end of the last rotation). Martin also got abducted via dance sphere (he had been abducted via telescope during his teen years, and I really wanted him to have an alien baby) and returned pregnant with the blond PT's twins.


So, we start this rotation with Martin reaching his 2nd trimester, and realizing his outfit does not have a pregnancy mesh (sadly, I don't have many male maternity outfits, so poor Martin is stuck with a Maxis one for the remainder of the pregnancy).


Peach, meanwhile, Knowledge sim that she is, takes upon her the task of teaching little Opal her skills (unlike her cousin Marisa, Opal hadn't learned a single toddler skill yet by the start of this roation). Of course, there are some sweet mother/daughter moments before that, still, as I love taking these pics. :)




Martin is not doing that well aspiration-wise (has been in the low green for a while), so I have him call some friends (he has best friend wants for some of them). Sadly, no best friends and no aspiration boost for Martin during this 1st day of the rotation.


Not that he is neglected by his wife, of course, as Peach runs to him after she's done with Opal's skills for the day.



Early the next day, though, she has to leave for work. Martin is currently on maternity leave, though, so there's not much of a problem there, unless he decides to do something stupid while I'm not looking.


I have him spend some quality time with his daughter, though, bringing down the odds of silly free will accidents.



Later that day, Peach returns home with a promotion and a new friend (Francine Rodiek, Naomi's mother - well, actually her aunt, but she did raise her along with her own son, so I'll always consider her Naomi's mom).


Opal is now almost fully trained, and goes off to play, and gain skill points while she's at it - a good start for a future Knowledge sim.


By the morning of day 3, Peach is away at work once more, while Opal is playing upstairs, and Martin can have some time to himself.


But not for long, as he soon goes into labour.


The oldest twin is a blond boy, Orestes Wonglepong (Sagittarius 1/6/10/10/8; future Knowledge sim like his stepmother and half-sister).



The second twin has the exact same colouring as Orestes, and he's also a boy. His name is Orion Wonglepong (Capricorn 10/2/2/10/10; future Romance sim).



Peach, upon arriving home with yet another new friend (Nuno Bettencourt, son of Morgan Bettencourt, great-grandson of Finbar and Anna Bettencourt, who doesn't exist storywise), goes inside to meet her new stepsons. I think they'll get along well. :D



Later that day, Opal finally becomes a child. She looks adorable with her new glasses, doesn't she?


After being a little disappointed due to the fact that there is no family inventory in TS2, I put Opal's toddler things away to get some space for the boys' cribs. Orion still has to sleep downstairs, though, as their house is not that big. Meanwhile, Peach receives a call from Marisa, who has become quite fond of her since they met on the day Giovanna was born.



And we end this rotation with Opal playing chess with Nuno.


As this family, unlike Berni and Naomi's, was claimed by the Plot Monster (TM), I guess there won't be any more picspam posts concerning them (at least for now). But you can cross your fingers for a future ATOR update still this month (if I don't procrastinate too much, that is).

I love seeing their picspam. So Martin and Peach are being good?
I always use dates for a quick aspiration boost. Yah aliens!
Does Opal have some wonkiness to her face? Can't wait for the chapter. :D

They are, despite the wants for flirting with other sims (which both of them are guilty of having), nothing has happened so far. I should have made them go on a date, now that you mention it, but I forget about sending most of my sims on dates as an aspiration boost unless they happen to be Pleasure sims (as they'll roll date wants much more often). Also, Peach was away at work most of the time during Martin's pregnancy and Opal's toddlerhood, so they would have had to cut a lot of dates short, I guess. :/
She has a little bit of wonkiness (she has Peach's colouring, but Martin's features, which include Helled's tiny mouth and strong chin, so they always look a bit like they've been sucking on a lemon until they hit their teen years - it gets better by that time). So I'm not worried about her face for now. ;) I did need another sim with glasses, though, I don't have that many around, and it's a nice change.
I'll try to get started on writing soon...it's been over 8 months, so kind of a shame there. I don't think I've had such a huge gap between chapters before.
