The hypothetical OWBC gods are at it again...

Remember Hector, Lorens and Ravi? The sons of my OWBC gen 1 spare Börje and his wife Yvonne? Well, like their cousins, they're currently at ALT, though in a different dorm, and I had been working on finding them romantic interests, since their father is a Family sim who wants 6 grandchildren and all...
Hector was already friends with Ivy Copur since someone brought her over from work during his teen years, they turned out to have decent chemistry, and got engaged shortly after Hector started college.
(Ivy became a vampire after my Grand Vampires briefly went crazy after Fergus was bitten by the blonde Contessa; I got a mod to stop the madness, but not before Ivy and the "beret-and-boots" downtownie were turned into vampires. Ivy is a Knowledge sim, so I'll probably keep her this way.)


I took a bit longer to get around to finding Lorens and Ravi some romantic interests, but eventually (via that matchmaker crystal ball mod) Lorens met a sim he had fairly high chemistry with, Garden Club sim Allyn Thomason...

...and Ravi met repairmen Lee Lewis the same way (if I'm not mistaken, all 3 couples turned out to be 2-bolt ones).


The thing was, ACR decided to make Ravi and Lee go for some photobooth woohoo at a very unfortunate time...immediately after they finished and were coming out of the booth, a lightning bolt struck it, and started a fire, which soon spread to the poor sim couple.

I sent Lorens there to help, as I kept hoping the rain would put out the fire...but the fire soon ended up killing both Ravi and Lee.

I made Lorens plead for Ravi. Since no one else in the household knew Lee, I figured it was no use trying to save him (Ravi could always ressurect him later on).

But he lost. That's right, Lorens was best friends with his twin brother (they were probably at 90something/90something or close), and still lost. :( I was pretty upset, since Ravi was my favourite out of the O'Connor boys, but still saved, since I tend to do that, no matter what happens (I did the same when one of my Randomville sims died in a fire, also started by lightning, while she was stargazing).



Now I've had Hector and Lorens wander around community lots, trying to meet every secret society member they can find, as I'm planning on having them use that phone to ressurect Ravi, no matter what it takes. They did meet three secret society girls already between the two of them, and Hector is already friends with two of those, so I'm hoping that they'll be able to get Ravi back soon.



My heiress Lethe, who hasn't been turned into a Grilled Cheese sim yet, has been taking the loss of her cousin pretty hard too, the poor thing (they were best friends). A miserable time for the extended Harker-O'Connor family all around. :(
