Modnar Legacy - What has been going on...

jothirteenAt the end of my last entry about the Modnar legacy, I had said that L and Ashley now had a toddler son, Romeo, and L had an alien toddler daughter, Juliet, as well. And remember how Gage, Pedro and Jan Tellerman's oldest, was almost a teen? Well, he did grow up, having rolled Family, and I immediately sent the poor boy off to college. I wanted the space in the house so that L and Ashley would have another kid. So Gage left, and Ashley got pregnant.
Here is Gage as a YA. I think he looks a lot like his mother Jan.
While Ashley was pregnant, Romeo and Juliet grew up into adorable children. It quickly became evident that I favoured Romeo. Not that I don't like Juliet, of course. There is just something about Romeo.
Ashley eventually had her baby, a girl with blonde hair, skin #3 and Artcele's light blue eyes. I named her Penélope. I was very pleased with a second kid with recessive genes, and even more pleased when she grew up into a toddler. Because she's also adorable. Despite her colouring, she looks a lot like L, has the exact same personality as him and even pre-rolled Knowledge like him.
Oh, yeah, as you can see in the pic, by this point, Pedro was already an elder. He grew up platinum, so he'll stick around still for a long time. It was also after Penélope became a toddler that I made a poll at S2WG. Romeo won, and I was happy with that, as I have PLANS for him. *cue ominous music*
A few days later, Spike became a teen (I'm afraid I didn't take a pic, though), having rolled Fortune, and I decided to send him to college like I did with Gage. No real reason, I just wanted to play a household with 7 sims instead of a household with 8. I definitely thought L and Ashley were done having kids.
Here is Spike as a YA. He looks more like Pedro than Gage does.
After he left, things were calm for a while, with the exception of the occasional visits of Artcele's ghost. Until...ACR decided that L and Ashley needed more kids. Instant lullaby. I considered aborting the pregnancy, I really did, but in the end my sister convinced me not to, saying that "the kid could grow up to be awesome". So Ashley stayed pregnant. At least I knew it wouldn't be twins, because there were already 7 people in the house.
Soon it was Romeo's turn to become a teen and Penélope's to become a child (they aged on the same day). Our heir rolled Romance, with the easy, easy LTW of becoming a Professional Party Guest.
One day later, Juliet teened. She rolled Family, with the LTW of marrying off 6 kids. I'm really glad she's not the heiress now. I hate that LTW.
And the day after that one, Ashley gave birth to her baby. Another girl, this one with skin #1, black hair and brown eyes. I named her Aida. She is a toddler now, and looks very different from her siblings. Hurray for variation! With her colouring and Ashley's eye shape, I think she looks Asian. And, of course, she's as adorable as all the other Modnars. She has pre-rolled Family, I believe.
And that was my weekly update on the Modnar family. Aida's birthday was the last thing that happened the last time I played the house. Some other things also happened, like L and Ashley getting promotions and Pedro achieving his LTW (Chief of Staff). But they were not that important. ;)
Next time, there will be more birthdays, and the identity of Romeo's future wife will be revealed.
