Of Simselves and a Hot Heir

This is a short story of what happened with Romeo Modnar and my simselves (Romance Jo and Knowledge Jo) during the time he was an adult before his intended spouse Rachel moved in with him. This mini story is narrated by both simselves. I hope you'll enjoy it!

"Hi, you all, Romance Jo here. But you can call me just Jo, of course. I realized a long while ago that this neighbourhood had a legacy, but no simselves of Jo had ever lived here. Something had to be done about it."

"So I moved into this house with my sister simself/alter ego, Knowledge Jo. She's no fun at all, I must add. Always with her nose in a book, how boring! She should enjoy life the way I do!"
"Jo, if by 'enjoying' you mean 'skanking around' then I don't think I would like to enjoy life, thanks."
"Oh, just shut up, Jo."

"Anyway, while Jo was being a pain, I was doing more interesting things. Shortly after we arrived, I called the gypsy matchmaker and she set me up for a blind date. I paid her 5000 simoleons for a perfect match...and guess who I got! Romeo Modnar, third generation heir of the Modnar legacy! Kaching!"

"To my joy, I soon found out that we had three natural bolts. It was meant to be, I tell you!"

"He stayed there until it was dark. We got to know each other better..."


"And eventually he told me about his family. Can you believe that the poor guy has 4 younger siblings, most of them much younger than him? I can't imagine growing up with such a large family, parents and grandparents included! At least he was the heir. I knew I had to make him feel better..."

"So I asked him if he'd like to head upstairs with me. Of course he said yes. Three bolts, remember? Ah, the wonders of ACR."

"And it was in my bedroom that we spent the rest of the night."


"What about me, you ask? Knowledge Jo? Well, I was shocked. We had moved into this neighbourhood to keep an eye on the new legacy and possibly befriend some of the Modnars...and Jo had just seduced the gen 3 heir, that was going to get married soon! This couldn't get any worse, I thought. But I was wrong."

"And the worse part was that Romeo seemed to be completely in love with my foolish simself sister. He would come here every morning to "pay her a visit" and after a while he even started sending her love letters! This had to stop. I had to tell Jo to end this madness."




"I tried my best to ignore their constant woohooing, but it soon started to get on my nerves. So I tried to ignore them the best I could. Soon, Romeo would leave Jo, right? He was a heir, he'd have to marry someone else."

"Well...like Knowledge Jo must have told you, things with Romeo were going veeery well. But there was a little problem. I soon found out I was pregnant."

"I guess all that morning sickness I had had for the past few days had really meant something after all..."

"Great. Just great, Jo. You managed to get pregnant with the current Modnar heir's child. And he isn't even married yet! This will be his first child! We weren't supposed to interfere with the legacy! Do you have any idea of how bad this is?"

"Jo, I'm old enough to know that there was a chance I'd get pregnant. That's why I did. Yes, I got pregnant on purpose. And don't worry - your precious legacy will be safe. Romeo will never know he impregnated me."

"What?! You got pregnant on purpose? But why, Jo? Why would you do such a thing! You're Romance! You hate kids!"

"Now, Jo, I don't hate all of my kids...just some. Remember Electra? She was my favourite child, and I was doing a great job with her, raising her to be my minion...when I was killed by that idiot Chad. But this time, it'll be different. I'll have another child, another chance. I miss Electra so much, Jo. If I get a son or daughter that is the least bit like her, I'll be happy."

"Oh, wow, Jo, I had no idea you felt like that. Very well, keep the baby, but please don't tell Romeo anything. And try not to be seen during the rest of your pregnancy, OK? We don't know if Romeo told anyone about your affair. It's too risky for you to be seen pregnant."

"OK, Jo...I'll do that. Romeo will never suspect a thing, trust me. Neither will anyone else. And I won't get out during the rest of the pregnancy. If you want, i'll even...ugh...stay here with you gaining skill points."

"That's great to hear, Jo. I'm very relieved."

"I didn't entirely keep my promise to Knowledge Jo, though...but it wasn't my fault. Romeo came over univited the next day, and what could I do? I knew what he wanted. Thankfully, I was only on my second trimester back then, and my bump was hardly noticeable. So he didn't even notice I was pregnant with his child."


"If I was mad at Romance Jo, you ask? Not really. She knew what she was doing. Romeo didn't notice she was pregnant, and I knew she wouldn't be stupid enough to let him see her on her third trimester."

"Soon I popped into my third trimester. Anyone could see I was pregnant now, so I knew I had to be careful. Romeo couldn't come over anymore."

"You're doing the right thing, Jo. You'll see."

"I called Romeo, saying it would be best if we didn't see each other anymore. After all, he was the heir and was going to marry that girl Rachel soon. The legacy was more important than our affair, I said. He reluctantly ended up agreeing."

"In the days that followed, I met some of his family members. And no, there was no danger of them knowing who I was, because Romeo hadn't told anyone about us. I met his grandfather Pedro, a Knowledge sim. Crazy old guy. I didn't like him much."

"I also met Romeo's uncle Gage, Pedro and an Tellerman's son. He was an idiot. A nice, foolish Family sim like Derek Random...nevertheless, he wanted to be my friend."

"No, I didn't get involved with any of them, if that was what you were thinking. Gage just thought of me as a friend. I think the old man would have enjoyed having an affair with me - he liked Romance sims, he was married to one after all - but I didn't give him any chances. Eww...I mean, he was my baby's great-grandfather!"

"A few days later, I couldn't help but notice that Jo was a bit restless. She would get up, walk around, sit down, then get up again. The baby was probably going to arrive soon..."

"I went into labour that very same day. The pain was almost unbearable, and I violently cursed Romeo for putting me through this."

"Keep going, Jo! You're doing great, the baby will be here in no time!"

"Eventually I gave birth to a girl. She looked just like me. The same hair colour, skin tone, eye colour, everything. I briefly wondered if she'd look anything like Romeo..."

"Exactly then, the phone rang. It was Romeo, and I had to chuckle when Jo told him I had gotten a job and therefore wasn't home. But the laughter soon stopped, when I realized I was still feeling contractions."

"I clutched my stomach in pain again as Jo held my newborn daughter..."

"And gave birth to a baby boy with the exact same colouring as his sister."

"I decided to name my daughter Aysi and my son Aytr. Those were the names of two fictional characters from one of my stories. They were twins, and both died at 17. I thought those names fit the naming scheme of the Modnar legacy. After all, they were Modnars, even if illegitimate."

"And now...I was a mother of twins. Would they look like Romeo or like me? Would they ever meet their father? And would any or both of them be like their half-sister Electra? That...only time would tell."

Na verdade, os gémeos foram muito planeados (por mim, não por ela) para poder usar estes dois nomes. ;) Mas agora é que vai ser chato se ela escolher um favorito - coitado do outro gémeo.
Obrigada. :D Tb estou ansiosa para ver como é que eles são. Espero que os genes da sim Jo e do Romeo se misturem bem. Provavelmente, vou ver isso ainda hoje.

Thanks, Jo, I'm glad you liked it. :D Yeah, I loved the dress when I saw it in All About Style, but then realized that, with her skin tone, she looks naked. Oh well, she won't mind. Romance sim. ;)
