First things first: cat pics

Most of the people who know me are well aware that I am obsessed with cats. Just looking around my desk you can find 4 or 5 cat-related things. Not mentioning the rest of the room... At least I don't have a picture of a cat as my desktop...yet.
I have 6 pets at home, and 3 of them are cats. 

 

This is Manchas, the oldest of my cats, and the only female. (Manchas is the Portuguese word for "spots".) She was given to me on my 12th birthday, and is now 5 years old. She has what we like to call "a very interesting personality". She's quite mean (used to bite our ankles when she was just 1 month old), and very stubborn too. Loves to sleep (more than most cats), loves cheese, and doesn't get along very well with the other cats and the dogs. But she does like us on her own strange way...


Cookie (sometimes spelled Kooki) is the second cat. He was given to my brother for his birthday (are you noticing a pattern here?) and he's now almost 3 years old. He and Manchas are complete opposites. Unlike her, Cookie loved us since he first arrived. He's a really sweet cat, purrs a lot (Manchas never purrs, seriously), is always following people around and gets along with all the other animals (or tries to...poor Cookie).


Sacha is the youngest of my cats. He was given to me on my 16th birthday and he's 1 year old. He is a Russian Blue, and a very strange cat. He's scared of almost everything, is really, really spoiled, and he adores Cookie (Cookie practically raised him. We like to say that Sacha thinks of Cookie as his mommy.) When we try to pet Sacha, he normally runs away. Even though he's a bit weird, everyone says he's my favourite out of the three cats...maybe they're right. ;)
