A White Legacy - Chapter 1.2

In the first chapter, my crazy founder, Alba White, had developed an obsession with her neighbour Xander Clavell, and she had had his child, a girl named Gauri (which is a name meaning "white" in Sanskrit). Gauri's two traits chosen at birth, for those who don't remember, were Insane and Genius. At the end of the chapter, Alba got pregnant again. We need a sparess for the matriarchy, after all.

"Who is mommy's little princess? That's right, Gauri is!"
Too bad that Gauri can't talk yet, or else Alba would have a nasty surprise. You see, Gauri's favourite colour is black. I just can't wait to see what will happen when Alba discovers this little fact.

"I don't feel so good again...does this mean?"
Yes, you're pregnant again. Woohoo often has that result.
"YAY, another baby for me and Xander! I can't wait to tell him!"
Oh, I'm sure he'll be thrilled. *rolls eyes*

Just look at them. From the outside, they almost seem like the perfect single mother and her perfect daughter. Almost. Let's just hope that the second child is also insane, or else he or she won't have the best childhood.

"Xander, guess what? I'm pregnant! We're going to have a second baby!"
"What, again? - I mean, that's awesome, Alba! Yeah."
Smart guy...

You know, I'm really getting bored of all the woohoo wants Alba keeps rolling for Xander. None of my other sims roll so many woohoo wants. I guess she really doesn't want him to leave her.

Here is little Gauri, all grown up into a toddler. She has Alba's white hair, which is awesome. She also doesn't share any of her mother's tastes, which makes her the rebel of the family. I'm pretty sure she doesn't like being all dressed in white.
"My mother is an idiot. She'll see...when I grow up, I'll show her what my favourite colour truly is."
Yup. Such a...precious child.

"That's right, Gauri, come to mommy."
"Foolish woman, you do realize that I was born a genius, right? I hate baby talk!"
"Aww, so cute. She can't even say a word. Don't worry, I'll soon teach you to talk as well, dearie!"
"...I hate her."

"Awww, my second baby is almost here. I just hope he or she will be as much of a sweetie as Gauri. She truly is the perfect child."
Poor, poor Alba. She really lives in a world of her own.

"My, you're sure getting big, Alba. I hope you won't end up popping out twins or triplets."
"Why? I think that'd be great, Xander. We'd have more babies together!"
"Uhh...because I can't move in, and you'd get very tired easily running after two or three kids, plus Gauri."
"Ohh, you are concerned about my well-being! You're so sweet!"
Close call, Xander.

Hey Gauri, what are you doing?
"Getting skill points, of course. I've already realized that that crazy woman can't teach me anything, so...I'm all by myself. She'll see, I'll end up being famous in Sunset Valley, one way or another."
I would feel sorry for her...if she wasn't as insane as her mother...or perhaps even more.

Haha, Alba, your "going into labour" faces are awesome.
"Shut up! I need to get to the hospital, quick!"

Of course that Xander had to be there too...

After a while Alba got out of the hospital holding another possible heiress to the legacy. Which was a great surprise, considering she didn't eat any fruit during this pregnancy. This new baby was named Bianca, which is a name that means "white" in Italian. I chose as her traits Insane (out of pity) and Friendly (so that she'll be different from the rest of the family). And guess what? Her favourite colour is actually white! I sense a heirship war!

"Oh, Xander, thank you for giving me our two beautiful babies. What do you say about trying for a third?"
"I don't think that's such a good idea, Alba...I mean, you don't have enough money to afford a third child, and you'll only be able to find a job when Bianca becomes a child."
Yes, listen to Xander this one time, Alba! You already have two girls! No more babies for you!
*sigh* "I guess you're right...I'll just have to spoil Bianca more, seeing she'll be my last baby."

Xander actually stayed there with her during part of the night. Which was sweet of him, I guess.

"Great. My mother is completely insane and my father is a dimwitted romancer. Plus, I feel like my little sister will be a suck up...she likes white! I'll be forced to be the misunderstood genius of the family."
Oh, shut it, kid. You actually had a pretty decent toddlerhood, unlike your sister. As you'll soon see.

At first everything was OK...Alba was in a good enough mood to take care of newborn Bianca...

...and teach toddler Gauri her last skills so that she could age well.

But then both girls aged. I had to build a room for Gauri and we started running out of money. Problem was, Alba couldn't find a job yet, as Bianca was still a toddler.
"You make it sound like it is my fault! Well, I'll just rebel against you too."
Yes, Gauri was still as lovely as ever. And she started showing her love for black, too.

Meanwhile, Alba struggled to teach Bianca her toddler skills. Sorry for not having a decent pic of her as a toddler, with all that was going on, I just forgot. She looks very different from Gauri. She is a red head and she has darker skin.

"Go away, I don't need you around here anymore! I can clean by myself, thanks!" *hiss*
"But...but I tried my best to be a good maid!"
Grady, just don't argue with Alba and go away. That's the best for you, believe me.

"My mother likes my sister better than me."
Well, what would you expect? Her favourite colour is white, plus she also likes classical music. Bianca's your mother's dream daughter.
"I guess I'll just have to turn to my other relatives, then."
You mean your father?
"You'll see who I mean soon."

"Hello, Grandma. You might not know me, but my name is Gauri White, and I'm your granddaughter."
"Oh, great. You're that crazy woman's child, aren't you?"
"Why, yes. I think we'll get along famously."
I doubt that for some reason...and look at her creepy face!

"My favourite colour is yellow."
"No, Grandma. Let's try this again. From now on, your favourite colour shall be black."
"But I already told you it's yellow! I don't like black!"
*hiss*
Like mother, like daughter. And notice Édipo there on the right. It seems he hasn't grown up yet.

Back at the crazies' house...
"Mommy! Where are you? I want to sleep! Mommy!"
Poor Bianca, seems like Alba forgot about her...

Because she was too busy taking care of her own needs. Poor Bee. For shame, Alba.

"Have a nice first day of school, honey!"
"Ugh, I feel like I'm going to vomit..."
Well, yeah, Gauri, you just ate ice cream that had been sitting on the counter for days! So much of a genius you are.
"Shut up!" *blarg*

"See? I am a  genius. Here I am, home from my first day of school, and I can do my homework without any help from my mother."
OK, kid, I believe you, sheesh! There's no need to prove yourself here.
"There is, because I want to be the heiress."
Oh great, just what I needed. No heirship wars, plz.

Just look at Bianca, she looks so innocent compared to her mother and sister. No one would think she's also Insane. But her insanity may take a different form. Let's just wait and see.

Alba teaches Bianca her last skills. One step closer to no more toddlers! Until next gen, of course...

"Gasp! Xander, what happened to your hair?"
"I became an adult, Alba. Happens to all of us."

"Oh, poor Xander! would a woohoo make you feel better?"
"Uhh...look at the time! I have to go! Bye!"
He really did reject her for woohoo. Dunno why. Maybe he thinks she'll try to have more babies or something.

"What do you MEAN I'm missing work! On my first day, no less!" *hissss*
Yes, she did get a job on the Criminal career track. You know what this means...Alba, you can go to work now. Your youngest daughter is already a child and can stay home by herself.

"What? I have to be alone at home until Mommy and Gauri come back?"
I'm afraid so, kid.
"I guess I'll just clean everything in sight, then. It will help me calm down."

Aw fabulous update! Hehe I'm looking forward to an heirship war that'll be just as plotty as ATOR! :) I have a feeling that Alba won't cope well with having a job...but I' looking forward to seeing her crack! :)

Thanks, Lily. :D Maybe even more plotty, as these two are Insane! I have that feeling too. I just hope she doesn't get fired, she hasn't been doing too well on the job. :( But I'm hoping things will get better for her soon.
I'll update as soon as I can. Probably not before my exam on Wednesday.
