(Yes, another one. Sorry, folks, I keep coming up with these OWBC-related doubts.)
Okay, does anyone know how grouchy does a sim need to be to steal back the gnome? Because mine has been gone from the lot for ages, and I've kind of realized that might be the cause. My sims are too nice to get it back - Olive has 10 nice points, and her non-bad apple kids all have 6 or more. The bad apple is most likely a nice sim, too, definitely acts that way. Olive's husband is low on nice points, but I've never seen him even try to get poor Glycogen back. Though when Oil lived at the lot (and when she and Olive were at college), I could always count on her to retrieve Glycogen. (Oil has 3 nice points, by the way, she was the only grouchy sim around the previous generation, all of her siblings and both her parents had 6 or more.)

Okay, I'm not sure about this - the no-promotions generation is defined in the rules as being "from birth to birth". The thing is, one of my gen 1 spares already had one kid (and has twins on the way too), while Olive, the gen 1 heiress, has just graduated college. Do the spare's children count as the gen 2 birth mentioned in the rules, or does that only apply for the gen 2 child(ren) Olive eventually gives birth to in the main house?

Good news, everyone! I finally defeated my procrastination (sort of) long enough to get the 1st chapter of the OWBC out.

Yes, I know, still undocumented and all, but coming soon (ish). I hope. The gen 1 poll is now at boolprop though - since this will not be a plotty story like ATOR, it's not really a problem who I end up with as heir. :)

Also, I created the founder of my soon-to-start OWBC today. (It will take place in a brand new neighbourhood, though, no Randoms or Riverblossom Hill sims around, those 'hoods were already too crowded for this.)
